PATIENT REFERRALS, ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION & COST ESTIMATIONS

Upon receipt of a detailed medical report of the patient from the medical insurer or doctor, we approach various medical institutions with a view to obtaining the best quotation/estimate for their specific treatment or procedure in South Africa The completed estimation is then advised to the client/patient. 

Accommodation and Transport is included in the estimation.  Please note, estimation is not a quotation – it is merely an overall estimated cost, inflated by a small margin, therefore catering for possible additional costs and contingencies. 

These estimations are based on uncomplicated procedures and treatments.

The utmost benefit of utilising MMI’s services is to ensure that we take care of all the frustrations with regard to obtaining accounts & bills for the treatments and procedures of the patients. 

Our specialised staff & systems strive to ensuring that accounts are audited, and at the same time, that the best cost-saving rates are beneficial to the client and patient. 

Once all administrative, accounting functions and patient treatments are consolidated, these are then delivered via courier to your doorstep.  This system-feature allows for one final payment to be made.

MEDICAL UPDATES

Our trained Case Manager will visit the patient at his/her bedside together with liaising with their Doctors and Nursing Staff.  Progress reports and news are advised via email or telephonically to the relevant insurance company.
